Reflections on existence, society, and the universe — intercepted and decoded.
Some introspection said that my plight seemed to be stemming from humanity's obsession with chasing external meaning and the pressure to find the ultimate purpose versus accepting life in its untainted, natural state. As if I am incomplete without discovering my higher calling. And that I would otherwise be miserable.
As the world continues to progress, adapting to continuous technological evolution will be imperative. It will give us a chance to curate our digital legacy and contribute to collective knowledge. Sense of community will be redefined. We will belong in virtual spaces and metaverses.
Panpsychism is a philosophy of mind that says everything material, no matter how small, has consciousness as it is a part of our universe. By that logic, even machines are a product of what exists in nature. And so, it is also conscious. It's just that it is conditioned and under the control of its devisers.
Intriguingly, Biocentrism in Quantum Mechanics suggests that consciousness is fundamental to reality. Entailing that life and consciousness are not merely products of the brain but are integral to the universe itself.
Overprocessing causes it to malfunction. It goes in a loop - defend, doubt, dissolve, and re-discover its individuality. People often isolate themselves mentally and an internal battle of self-preservation begins, no longer reliant on just an external stimulus to trigger the loop.
We're all trapped, to some extent, in an echo chamber of perception, where our beliefs bounce back and reinforce themselves. We simply cannot see the world as it is. From birth, the ones close to us teach us how to perceive and react to the various stimuli around us.
The resident population sometimes don’t understand the complex relationship between tax paying immigrant and a nation's economic framework. Skilled labors power essential sectors from agriculture to tech by filling critical skill gaps.
Are we conditioned to avoid confronting this absolute truth of existence or could it be something innate?
